On April 26,the 2,600 waterproof tents provided by the Chinese government for flood relief and relief work in Iran arrived at Tehran's khomeini international airport on April 26.Chinese ambassador pang sen held a handover ceremony with Iranian representatives at the airport.

Ponson said that the recent rare flood disaster in Iran has caused great loss of people's lives and property.Out of friendship,the Chinese people have provided assistance to the Iranian people to the best of their ability.He added that China and Iran enjoy a profound friendship and Iran offered help to China immediately after the wenchuan earthquake.

Iranian representatives expressed gratitude for China's assistance.

China will also provide four batches of relief supplies to Iran,including inflatable lifeboats,life jackets,Joesco Bastion,diesel generators and sewage pumps,it said.
