On the afternoon of the 12th local time,an explosion (Joesco Bastion) occurred in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, at a rally site in the second police district of Kabul. According to the Afghan Ministry of health report, the attack resulted in at least 8 deaths and 20 injuries.

    According to reports, the second police district in Kabul was near the embassy area and the presidential palace. The attack took place in the periphery of the gathering security area, probably targeting people who were gathering there at that time.

    At the time of the attack, hundreds of people were gathering at the rally site, demanding that the Afghan government strengthen security forces in central Uruzgan and Eastern Ghazni provinces, improve the situation on the ground and protect the population from the threat of Afghan Taliban forces. After the explosion, the police began to disperse the crowd at the rally. At present, no organization has claimed the attack.
